fashion designer wannabee
For the past few days i've been looking for my options on what to study in the future.. last year i had 2 options: fashion design or masteral degree. now i have finally decided that i want to take up fashion :) since i was a kid i wanted to conquer the fashion world.
i am a designer wannabee. i love love love monique lhuillier's works. i love her romantic / feminine designs... kaya nga when i went to the states seeing her boutique can be considered as a great experience :) hopefully in the future i can be like her :) hehe
anyway now i have 3 schools as an option:

1st: SOFA - Amina Aranaz's school. I have attended one of her talks in our class and i actually had fun listening to her stories on Instituto (her school in Milan) up to her stories on bag making. so i think that shcool is very promising (plus SOFA is participating Project Runway Philippines) However whenever the issue of money and location is raised.. (located at Paseo)
2nd: FIP - Fashion Institute of the Phils. Price wise, this school has the most reasonable cost. Plus John Herrera is one of the teachers in that school (one of the most promising young local designers) and also he is a graduate of FIP. (located at Ortigas)
3rd: La Salle College Manila - When i was applying at BCD Pinpoint this struck me most. it's near my office however cost wise i think it's too pricey.
Right now i have this sort of vague plan. i want to take up fashion at FIP since this school sounds promising based on what my friend had told me. then maybe take up styling or fashion photography at SOFA.
Hopefully i can visit these schools soon. :) so that i can decide on what school i'll be studying in.
